Emergency Mold Response at Glebe Park August 2008

On August 13, 2008, Alexandria EMS crews responded to Glebe Park Apartments in Arlandria. Officials on site at the time stated that conditions in the building were unsuitable for habitation. Later, City officials denied ever being there. After these pictures surfaced, Alexandria's public housing and public safety officials admitted the existence of the problems and relocated the women and children who were living in the adjacent apartments, albeit to other nearby units slated for demolition.

That that incident generated over a hundred code violations. I wonder what happened to lady and her two little kids who were living directly above that apartment - they tried to paint over the mold they had but I heard that kind of mold can have long term health ramifications.
